Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) is an 8-week skills workshop designed to help people manage chronic unhappiness and worry.  In this course, you will learn meditation and cognitive tools to stop ruminating and let go of negative thoughts.

  • Want to learn ways to cope with negative thoughts

  • Are open to trying new things and are up for a challenge

  • Have always wanted to try meditation but need structured support and accountability to build it into your life

  • Enjoy experiencing community

  • Want to be more present or mindful of each moment

What is included

All participants will have a 20-minute one-on-one with the instructors prior to the start of the course to answer questions and give a brief overview of the material.

The course includes eight 90-minute group sessions, weekly handouts, and guided meditations for home practice.
